I had an amazing time exploring the city, as I was just a short walk away from the stunning Livraria Lello and the picturesque Cais da Ribeira, which made my daily strolls absolutely delightful. the staff were so helpful, giving me great suggestions for landmarks to visit and delicious nearby eateries.

Incredible room, exceptional amenities, the hot tub on the balcony was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of exploration, and the delicious food and friendly staff made my stay truly memorable while being just a quick 10 minute walk to the bus station.

Completely flawless.

The excellent breakfast offered a good variety, contributing greatly to our enjoyable stay. Additionally, the cleanliness and modern design of the Executive Double or Twin Room made it a comfortable retreat. The pool provided a much-needed escape during our visit. However, the noise levels at times were a bit disturbing late in the evening, and while the staff was generally helpful, we experienced some lapses in prompt service during peak hours.

The Superior Double Room featured a contemporary design with tasteful decor, creating an inviting atmosphere. Proximity to key attractions made our explorations easy, minimizing travel hassle around the city, which is a big win.

After a long day of walking, the uphill trek to the hotel became a bit tiring, especially for those not in peak condition. One corner near the hotel had a few too many loud 'characters' after dark, which could occasionally disrupt the peaceful vibe. Also, the breakfast variety fell a bit short, leading to some monotony, limiting excitement for the morning meal situation.

Our group had an amazing time during our stay! We visited the beautiful bridges and enjoyed the unforgettable Bridges Cruise on the Douro River. The location was perfect, and the hotel staff were helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean, making our trip even better.

Great breakfast with tons of choices like fresh pastries and great coffee. Loved the stylish room design featuring a hot tub, flat-screen TV, and soundproofing. Enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, sauna, and relaxing full body massage options. Staff was attentive, making everything super smooth. Perfect location for exploring the city!

The location of Bessahotel Baixa stands out. Perfectly situated for exploring Porto. The decor is modern and vibrant. I loved the room's unique features, especially the mirror that turns into a TV. The bed was super comfortable, making it easy to recharge after long days. The indoor pool area is a real gem — it feels luxurious and well-maintained. The breakfast spread was delicious, with plenty of options to fuel up for the day. However, I faced a few hiccups. The room lacked sufficient storage, making it hard to unpack. The shower floor was slippery, which was concerning. a few anti-slip strips would definitely help. These issues didn’t overshadow my experience, but I see room for improvement.

The rooms are spacious and spotless. The gym and pool were well-maintained and inviting. The staff were attentive and quick to assist with any needs. I loved the beautiful indoor areas and the lovely garden. A great stay overall! 🏨

Perfect modern getaway!

This hotel is super modern and cozy! The indoor spa was a lifesaver during the rainy days, and the staff was really accommodating, letting us check out later. We had dinner in the restaurant – kinda rare for us, but it was surprisingly good. Just be ready for a bit of a trek uphill from the river. it’s a 20-min walk.

Couple retreat at its finest

The room we had was immaculate, with such a comfortable bed, I actually slept like a baby. Also, the breakfast was top-notch, there were so many choices, it felt like a feast every morning.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but for what we got, it was worth every penny.

The indoor infinity pool was a great way to relax after exploring. The modern room had a cool TV hidden in the mirror, and the rainfall shower was divine!
